What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the Site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media
If you upload images to the Site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the Site can download and extract any location data from images on the Site.

Contact forms
Currently, our contact forms (regarding products quotes) do not save any information in the
Site’s database, the information is just being sent to our email address and is used for contact purposes only.

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.” This information will be used to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to communicate with you and screen our orders for potential risk or fraud.

Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter we keep the name (it is not a must to provide a name) and email that you have provided, in order to send you our newsletter each time. This information not shared with any 3rd party. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter (by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of the emails or by contacting us with a request) this information will be deleted from our database. We also store logs about the newsletter emails sent, as a way to identify server problems with outgoing emails.

Cookies
If you leave a comment on our Site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and Site in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this Site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Search Logs
All searches performed using the internal Site search are logged in our database, including the following information: the search query, date and time, the number of hits found and user ID for users who are logged in. These will help us understand what users are looking for and what they actually find when searching our Site, so we can make it easier to find the most suitable pages.

Shop Logs
When you browse our shop and add products to your cart the cart details are stored for two reasons: being able to recognize and analyze problems concerning our store and the checkout procedure, and for helping customers to complete the checkout prodecure in case they encounter a problem. If you are not logged in and havn’t entered any details in the checkout page the only information logged will be the cart’s content and date.

Embedded content from other websites
We are not using a lot of embedded content in our Site but some pages may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics
We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Site which will help us understand how our customers use the Site.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports Site traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Site. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Site available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our Site, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). The Site’s administrators can also see and edit that information.

The search logs are stored indefinitely or until we clean them manually. Shop logs are stored for up to a year unless we clean them manually, specific cart logs are also deleted if the order was completed.

What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this Site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

If you are located outside Israel and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Israel (where the Site is hosted) and process it there.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
